Laura recently competed in the Victorian State Finals in the Girls U/10 800m and 400m events, winning gold and silver medals respectively. Her time of 2:31.24 for the 800m is a new Victorian Best Performance, eclipsing the previous mark of 2:34.5.
Laura also runs with Ruyton Athletic under the guidance of coach Steve Ellinghaus. She is looking forward to the challenge of the cross country season in the coming months, along with the school championships towards the end of the year.
